Mission Statement

We are committed to providing excellent pediatric medical care to the children of Houston, Clear Lake, Pearland, Galveston, Sugar Land, Richmond, and the surrounding areas. It is our goal to provide a family-friendly, relaxed, and comfortable atmosphere to patients, families, and our employees.



Values

To provide the highest level of care for our patients, we will strive to educate our patients and their families about preventative medicine and health issues. We always take the time to listen to our patient’s concerns and involve them directly in their care to get the best outcome. We strive to be a passionate advocate on behalf of our patients.

AR Texas Pediatrics, PLLC provides the community of Houston, Texas, and beyond with high-quality pediatric medical care services. We ensure that parents won’t have to worry about the health of their child by providing them with all that they need to prevent illnesses and offer solutions to conditions that their child may be experiencing. We work together with each parent to provide each child with the best care possible.



Dominga - Texas Pediatrician

Ms. Dominga


Dominga was happily raised in the Dominican Republic. She is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. In February 2016, she graduated from Chamberlain University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She has been providing care to pediatric patients in various specialties, including emergency room, acute care, chronic complex care, and neonatal intensive care. She enjoys taking care of sick children and providing education and support to their families.

In December 2020, she earned a Master of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University and holds a national certification with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) as a Family Nurse Practitioner. In September 2021, She became a member of AR Texas Pediatrics, she has been working alongside Dr. Aseema Raoshan providing quality and excellent care to our patients at sick and well visit. She fluently speaks both English and Spanish. Dominga lives in Sugar Land, with her husband, three children, and two dogs. In her spare time, she enjoys running, fishing, and exploring National Park.

Amanda - Houston Texas Pediatrician

Ms. Coffey

Jacqueline Coffey is a wife, mom, and gigi. She graduated from La Salle University with a Bachelor's of Arts in Communications. She began her career in the Philippines as a segment producer for ABS-CBN. She later came to the U.S. for studies to become an RN, and graduated from San Jacinto College in Pasadena, Texas with an Associates of Science in Nursing. She worked as an RN in the newborn nursery for HCA Clear Lake for 2 years prior to returning to the Philippines to pursue her Bachelor's of Science in Nursing at the PanPacific University. Once receiving her BSN, she worked in New Zealand working with disabled adults, and geriatric and dementia patients for 3 years. She returned to the U.S. and resumed working in the newborn nursery for 5 more years before deciding to pursue a Master's of Science in Nursing to become a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She has worked at AR Texas Pediatrics since 2023. She speaks 5 languages, English, Tagalog, Ilocano (Filipino dialect), Fookien (Chinese dialect), and American Sign Language. She is a certified Life Coach, and on the pastoral team at a local church. In her spare time, she loves spending time at home with her family, eating good Asian/ethnic foods, and finding a good deal.

Amanda - Houston Texas Pediatrician

Sr. Chinwendu 

JSr. Chinwendu was born and raised in Nigeria. She is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. In 2014 she graduated from Midland University Fremont Nebraska with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Following graduation, Sr. Chinwendu worked in a variety of clinical settings, including nursing homes, Medical surgical unit, and Acute Rehabilitation hospital for both adults and pediatrics.


She has a strong commitment to her work and values the time she spends with her patients. In 2021 she graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, and holds a national certification with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) as a Family Nurse Practitioner


Sr. Chinwendu has always wanted to spend more time working with children. She joined Dr. Roashan's  team at AR Pediatrics in March 2023 to help deliver great, patient- and family-centered care for young patients. Sr. Chinwendu speaks Igbo, Italian, and English fluently.


Sr. Chinwendu is a Catholic Nun and a member of Handmaids of the Holy Child Jesus Congregation. She

leaves in a convent in Houston with her sisters. She likes going on walks, visiting new places, teaching

Bible studies, and spending time with her family and community.
